Crews Battle Morning House Fire In Monmouth County Firefighters quickly put out a morning house fire in Neptune Township, officials said. Parts of Ridge and 7th avenues were closed as crews were at the scene of the fire at around 8:30 a.m., according to the Neptune Township Office of Emergency Management.  The fire was extinguished by 9:15 a.m. The road remained closed as investigators determined the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
