Shelton Man Admits Robbing 4 Connecticut Banks SHELTON, Conn. -- A 47-year-old Shelton man pleaded guilty Monday to one count of bank robbery and admitted that he had robbed four branches of Chase Bank last year. Scott Taylor, 47, waived his right to be indicted and pleaded guilty in Hartford federal court. He robbed the Chase Banks at: 184 Main St. in Westport on June 2, 2016; 1561 Boston Post Road in Milford on June 24, 2016; 50 Washington St. in Norwalk on July 6, 2016, and 1855 Main St. in Stratford on July 13, 2016. Stratford Donut Shop Manager Fights Court Order After Sex Assault Arrest BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A manager of a Dunkin' Donuts on Honeyspot Road in Stratford is contesting a court order barring him from contact with an employee, according to a story on CTPost.com.Maher Mahairi, 52, of Fairfield, was ordered to stay away from a female employee when he was arraigned Friday on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault, the Post said. Prosecutors asked Judge William Holden for a protective order, but Mahairi's lawyer, Michael Fitzpatrick, disputed the women's claims of sexual assault, the story said. Snow Creeps Into Tuesday's Forecast For Fairfield updated: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — The weather forecast for Tuesday just got a bit worse — and a more snowy — for Fairfield County. With 2 to 3 inches of snow now in the forecast, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for interior Connecticut, including much of inland Fairfield County for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. UConn Health Pays Multimillion-Dollar Settlement In Stratford Woman’s Death STRATFORD, Conn. -- The family of a Stratford woman will receive a multimillion-dollar settlement from UConn Health after she succumbed to a heart ailment in 2011, according to CTPost.com. GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Police Department is seeking public assistance in finding a 28-year-old man who was last seen in Riverside. Daniel Joseph Flynn was last seen around midnight on Monday in Riverside. Flynn is 5 feet, 8 inches, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Ridgefield's West Wins Team Silver At Luge World Championships RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Ridgefield's Tucker West led the United States to a silver medal in the 4-member mixed luge relay Sunday in the 47th annual World Championship in Igls, Austria. West worked with Matt Mortensen, Erin Hamlin and Jayson Terdiman to win the silver medal, one of three medals at the championships for the U.S. Germany won gold and Russia won bronze. Judd Road Closed In Easton, Monroe Due To Oil Spill From Truck Crash Updated: MONROE, Conn. — A stretch of Judd Road in Monroe and Easton was expected to be closed for 48 hours after an oil truck spilled its load in an accident Monday morning, according to the Easton and Monroe Police Departments. Single-Car Crash On Saturday Night Disrupts Power In Monroe MONROE, Conn. -- Monroe Police and Fire Department units responded to a single-car crash Saturday night that disrupted power for some local residents.The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on Route 111 near Spring Hill Road.
