Happy Birthday To Ex-nfler David Baas, Former Ridgewood Resident
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Happy birthday to David Baas, a former player for the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants.
Baas turns 35 on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
He was born in Bixby, Okla., on Sept. 28, 1981, and attended high school and played football in Sarasota, Fla. He lived in Ridgewood when he was playing for the Giants. He's currently back in Florida.
While in high school, Baas was recognized as "All-USA" by USA Today. He then played for the University of Michigan. He was honored both within his conference, the Big Ten, and as a consensus first-team All-American.

Patricia Burns, 70, of Bergenfield
BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Patricia (Dunne) Burns, of Bergenfield, died on Monday, Sept. 26. She was 70.
Born in the Bronx, Burns was a crossing guard with the Borough of Demarest. She enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and friends and going to concerts.
She is survived by her children, James and Belinda Burns; grandchildren Gabrielle, Dylan, Caitlyn and Nicholas; great-grandson Jayden; and siblings Thomas, Phillip, Michael, Loretta, Irene and Carol.
Burns was predeceased by her husband, James; son Brian; and parents Jean and Thomas Dunne.

Mary Ann Pingree, 66, Rutherford Resident
RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Mary Ann Pingree, of Rutherford, died on Sunday, Sept. 25. She was 66.
Born in Hoboken, Pingree had worked in human resources for the Bank of New York as well as working as a teacher at St. Phillips School, in Clifton.
She is survived by her husband, John, and her siblings, John Murtha and his wife Anne Marie, Kathleen Murtha and her husband Mark Weiss, Robert Murtha and his wife Delia, and Kevin Murtha and his wife Shari Ferguson.

Anne T. Aglione, 74, Teaneck Resident, Longtime School Aide
TEANECK, N.J. -- Anne T. Aglione, of Teaneck, died on Saturday, Sept. 24. She was 74.
Before retiring, Aglione was a school aide for 30 years for the Teaneck Board of Education. She was also a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Elmwood Park.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Aglione; sons Anthony, James and his wife Diane, and John Paul and his fiancée Danielle; and grandson Lewis.
Aglione was predeceased by her sister, Barbara.
