Mahwah Farm-to-Table Fundraiser Set for Saturday
MAHWAH, N.J. -- The Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization is hosting a farm-to-table harvest dinner Saturday, featuring fruits and vegetables grown at its Fresh Roots Farm.The 2016 Farm Feast is the group's first-ever farm fundraiser. In addition to the varied menu, there will be live bluegrass music, farm games and a silent auction.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Grace Joan Lauricella, of Cliffside Park, died on Monday, Sept. 26. She was 101.
Born in 1914 in New York City, Lauricella moved to Cliffside Park when she was 6 -- and she lived in the same house for 96 years.
She was a high-end fashion designer who created couture gowns for movie stars, and her first fit model was Lucille Ball, information from the funeral home noted. Salvatrice Cassarino Di Martino, 67, Longtime South Hackensack Resident
SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Salvatrice Cassarino Di Martino, of South Hackensack, died on Tuesday, Sept. 27. She was 67.
Born in Italy, Di Martino came to the United States in 1969, settling in Hackensack. She lived in South Hackensack for 25 years.
Before she retired, she was a crossing guard for the City of Hackensack for more than 15 years. Previously, she was a dress designer for children's clothing.
