Steven Sudol, 84, Lifelong Wallington Resident WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Steven Sudol, a lifetime resident of Wallington, died on Monday, July 11. He was 84. Prior to retiring, Sudol was a chemical operator for Hoffman LaRoche in Nutley for over 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He is survived by his second wife, Anna (Trzcinska), and his son, Jeffrey Sudol, of Midland Park. He was the dear brother of the late John, Stanley and Bill Sudol, and Bertha Fila and Sophie Sondey. State and federal authorities are researching 38 illnesses across 20 states related to a specific type of E. coli -- E. coli O121 -- between Dec. 21, 2015, and May 3, 2016.
