Mount Vernon School Unveils Mural To Promote Healthy Eating MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – A mural made by third-grade students at Holmes Elementary School in Mount Vernon was unveiled Thursday. May 29. The mural was part of an initiative with ArtsWestchester to combine academic subject matter and art. Westport Coxswain Leads Ohio State To NCAA Rowing Crown WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport’s Sami Jurofsky helped the Ohio State women’s crew team win its second straight national title Sunday in Indianapolis. Jurofsky, a junior, worked as the coxswain for the Buckeyes’ Second Varsity 8. Ohio State won that race and also the first varsity eight race.
