Bedford Fans Ready For Start Of New NFL Season WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County professional football fans are ready for the start of a new season as the National Football League kicks off Sunday and Monday for the New York teams. The Jets host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Giants play on Monday at the Detroit Lions. Kickoff at Ford Field is 7:10 p.m. Neither team made the playoffs in 2013. The Giants stumbled to an 0-6 start and finished 7-9. The Jets won three of their last four games to finish 8-8. 3 Norwalk Packers Youth Football Teams Win Opening Games NORWALK, Conn. -- Three Norwalk Packers youth football teams won their opening games of the season last weekend. The 4th-grade 79ers beat Middletown, 28-7; the 5th-grade team rolled over Middletown, 33-6; and the 7th-grade squad beat Hartford, 20-0. Darien Test Prep Center Wants Students Ready For SAT Changes FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Students from this fall’s sophomore class and subsequent years will face a revamped SAT in two years.
