Darien Chamber Welcomes SoNo Baking Company DARIEN, Conn. -- One week after opening, the Darien Chamber of Commerce welcomed the SoNo Baking Company to Darien with an official ribbon cutting. The Darien location is at 49 Tokeneke Road and will feature a cafe, espresso bar and its selection of baked goods, cakes, pastries, cookies and artisan breads. Some lunch dishes will also be on the menu. Sono Baking Company also has a location on Water Street in Norwalk. Cain, a freshman at the University of Portland, runs professionally for the Nike Oregon Project and is coached by distance running legend Alberto Salazar.  Cain won the world junior title at 3,000 meters in July. Rowers, Parents From Norwalk Club Run Race In New Haven NORWALK, Conn. -- Girls and parents from Norwalk's Connecticut Boat Club traded their oars for running shoes on Monday as they ran in the Stratton Faxon New Haven Road Race. The annual tradition to kick off the fall racing season saw about 25 girls and several parents run in the 5-kilometer or 20-kilometer race.  CBC, one of the top all-girls rowing programs in the nation, is coached by Liz Trond.
