Fairfield Fury Softball Team Wins Scarsdale Tournament FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Fury 10-and-under team won the Scarsdale Raider Fall Brawl fast-pitch softball tournament to close out its 10u campaign in style. The girls finished with an undefeated 5-0 record on the weekend, including a nail-biter walk-off win in the semifinals. In the finals, Fairfield run-ruled Central Nassau (Long Island), 9-0.  Over the five games, the team outscored its opponents 43-10 and went into Sunday’s championship round as the top seed.
