Harry J. Ekelund, 67, Former Ossining Resident, Fire Department Member OSSINING, N.Y. -- Harry J. Ekelund, a former resident  of Ossining and a resident of Southbury, died on Sept. 23. He was 67. Ekelund was born in Freeport, N.Y. on May 18, 1947 and was the son of the late Harry J. and Gertrude (Hanley) Ekelund.   He was a graduate of Manhattan College with a BS in Electrical Engineering and he received his MBA, with a minor in Marketing from Iona College. Fairfield's Dwight Elementary Plans Fall Fair For Weekend FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Dwight Elementary School in Fairfield will host its annual Fall Fair on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27. Fair visitors can enjoy rides, games, crafts and food. Fair hours are 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Wristbands on Saturday are $25. The fair will also include activities such as face painting, sand art and raffle prizes for parents. Christie's Country Store will provide food, and fair is sponsored by the not-for-profit Dwight Elementary PTA. Dwight Elementary is at 1600 Redding Road.

Registration Closes Friday For October Mud Run In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- Registration closes on Friday, Sept. 26, for the Muddy Up 5k trail run hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich.
