Iona Teams Run Saturday In NCAA Cross Country Championships NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Iona College will sends its men’s and women’s cross country teams to the starting line Saturday for the NCAA Division 1 championships in Terre Haute, Ind. The race starts at 1 p.m. at Wabash Family Sports Center and a live webcast will be shown on NCAA.com. The Gaels are ranked eighth in the nation in the men’s poll and the women are ranked 16th. Norwalk High Band Marches To Title In National Contest NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk High School Marching Bears capped off an undefeated season by winning the U.S. Bands Open Class national championship on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the MetLife (New York Giants) Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. During the day high school bands competed in various classes of size and expertise. Some of the bands competing included units from New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Georgia.
