Mount Vernon Schools Celebrate Digital Learning Day All Week MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon School District recognized National Digital Learning Day with a weeklong celebration.  The district launched a digital learning initiative that provides each student in grades three through 12 with an email address. The Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation honors top scholar-athletes from football teams at public and private schools across Westchester and Putnam counties for its Golden Dozen annually.

'Hamlet' Will Rule At Rowayton’s Pinkney Park This Summer NORWALK, Conn. -- Pinkney Park in Rowayton will host Claire Kelly's adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" from June 16 through July 3. It has been selected as Shakespeare on the Sound’s 21st annual production, featuring a 1950s setting and an age-appropriate cast. Norwalk Public Library Presents Super Science Program NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Public Library will hold a Super Science: Hoop Gliders activity on Tuesday, Feb. 16.  Open to students in grades 1 through 5, participants will make two circles and a straw fly through the air.  The hoop glider event will take place in the Children's Activity Room from 4 to 4:45 p.m.  Attendance is limited to the first 20 children to arrive.
