Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Lloyd Harbor Teen Seriously Injured In Huntington Crash Involving Intoxicated Driver: Police A Long Island teen was charged with driving while intoxicated after an 18-year-old passenger was seriously injured when a luxury SUV crashed into trees and a pole overnight, according to authorities. Person Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Sedan At Busy Huntington Station Intersection A serious crash near a busy Long Island intersection that left a person seriously injured is under investigation. It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Huntington Station. That's when a 58-year-old Huntington woman was operating a 2017 Chevrolet sedan southbound on New York Avenue, near Depot Road, when the vehicle struck a male pedestrian, who was crossing the street, Suffolk County Police said. Person Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Struck By Vehicle On Route 119 In Greenburgh A person suffered severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle on a busy Westchester roadway. The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in Greenburgh, in the area of 250 Tarrytown Rd. (Route 119). NY College Student Missing Since Thanksgiving Weekend Found A student at a university in New York who went missing over Thanksgiving weekend has been found. Kenny DeLand Jr., age 22, had last been heard from on Sunday, Nov. 27 when he contacted his family on social media, the family said. A student at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, DeLand had been studying abroad in France. Person Killed In Overnight Hit-Run West Hempstead Crash Police are investigating a fatal overnight hit-and-run crash on Long Island. It happened around 3:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in West Hempstead. A witness observed a man lying in the westbound lane of Woodfield Road, Nassau County Police said.
