Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

3 Hospitalized After Crash Involving Mercedes, SUV On Northern State Parkway In North Hempstead Three people were hospitalized, one with serious injuries, after a two-vehicle crash on the Northern State Parkway. It happed just before 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20 near Exit 32 in the town of North Hempstead. The driver of a 2004 Mercedes-Benz was traveling eastbound when he struck a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, causing the Mercedes to overturn, according to New York State Police. Alert Issued For Missing 16-Year-Old From Naugatuck A 16-year-old Connecticut boy has gone missing and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him. Dylan Ragusa was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 19 in Naugatuck in the area of Rubber Avenue. He's about 5-foot-3, 145 pounds with sandy blond hair and blue eyes, according to the Naugatuck Police Department, noting he was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, Adidas pants, and a black backpack. 33-Year-Old Woman Killed After Compact SUV Crashes Down Embankment, CT State Police Say Connecticut State Police are investigating an overnight crash that left a 33-year-old woman dead. It happened around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 in Hartford County. A 2015 Nissan Rogue was traveling in Glastonbury on Route 2 westbound, east of Exit 8, in the left lane of two when the driver lost control of vehicle, according to Connecticut State Police.
