Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Registered Offender From Suffolk Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Child While Out On Parole A Long Island man who is a registered sex offender has been sentenced for sexually abusing a child while he was out on parole. Mall Security Guard On Long Island Accused Of Committing Sex Act While On Duty A security guard at a Long Island mall has been accused of committing a sex act while on duty. Jose Irizarry, age 33, of Holbrook, was working as a security officer on Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, when he approached a 24-year-old woman who he suspected of shoplifting. Irizarry, under the guise of escorting the woman out of the mall, Suffolk County Police said. 63-Year-Old Dies After Being Struck By Compact SUV In Commack Police are investigating after a fatal overnight crash on Long Island. It happened around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 in Commack. A 63-year-old man was walking southbound on Veterans Memorial Highway, east of Jericho Turnpike, when he was struck by a westbound 2015 Kia Soul, Suffolk County Police said.
