Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man Killed In Vermont Crash A Long Island man was killed in a crash in Vermont. The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 10 on Main Street in the town of Cavendish, according to Vermont State Police. Suffolk County resident Mark Funt, age 75, of Setauket, was riding an Artic Cat snowmobile when it crashed, police said. An investigation is ongoing. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Woman Accused Of Driving Under Influence Of Drugs After Her Child Is Found On Patchogue Roadway A woman has been accused of driving under the influence of drugs after her child was found walking on a Long Island roadway overnight. It happened Saturday, March 11 at about 9:30 p.m. in Port Jefferson Station. 39-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Train In Hudson Valley An investigation is underway after a person was struck and killed by a train in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened at around 3:35 p.m. Friday, March 10 in Ulster County in the area of Winsupply on Morton Blvd in the Town of Ulster.
