The Coals Pizza location in Bronxville, at 131 Parkway Road, will be closing in the next few weeks, Coals announced on Facebook. Halloween DWIs: Police In Putnam County Warn Against Drunk Driving Police in Putnam County are warning people not to drive drunk as Halloween fast approaches. To help spread the word, police agencies will participate in efforts to bring awareness to the danger of driving while impaired, said Putnam County Sheriff Kevin McConville. New Bagel Shop Opens In Westchester County There's a new spot to grab a bagel in Westchester County. Horseman Bagels, located in Sleepy Hollow at 276 North Broadway, opened for business on Saturday, Oct. 1. The new shop features a variety of bagels and cream cheese spreads, and also sells muffins, donuts, croissants, and cold-cut sandwiches, owner Saeed Faghihi said. Lane To Close On Hutchinson River Parkway In Harrison, Scarsdale Motorists are being warned of an upcoming lane closure on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County. On Monday, Oct. 17, one lane will be closed along the southbound side between Exit 14 (Route 127) in Harrison and Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale, Department of Transportation officials said. The closure, which will last between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., is planned to allow for construction activities if the weather is permitting, officials said. Commuters are asked to slow down and drive responsibly in the work zone, or face doubled fines, officials said.

Part Of Busy Northern Westchester Roadway To Close For Nearly A Month A section of a busy roadway in Northern Westchester will soon close for four weeks. The section of Route 118 in Yorktown between Birdsall Drive and Hanover Street will close starting on Monday, Oct. 17, at 12 a.m. and continue to Monday, Nov. 14, Department of Transportation officials said. Police Investigate Reported Firearm Threat At Westchester County HS Police said that "no credible life safety threat" was found after responding to an incident suspected of involving a firearm at a Westchester County high school. On Friday, Oct. 14 at 12:30 p.m., Greenburgh Police responded to a dispute between two students at Woodlands High School in the Hartsdale section of the town after receiving an "alleged statement involving firearms," police said. Police Searching For Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Westchester Gas Station Police are looking for a suspect who they say was involved in an armed robbery of a gas station in Westchester County. It happened in Port Chester on Thursday, Oct. 13 around 7 p.m. at the BP gas station at 230 Boston Post Road (Route 1), police said. Man Filmed, Exposed Himself At College Campus In Selden, Police Say Police are asking for help in finding a man who is accused of filming and exposing himself to a victim at a Long Island college. On Wednesday, Oct. 5, at around 2 p.m., a man filmed another man using the restroom at Suffolk County Community College's Ammerman Campus in the hamlet of Selden, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. Alert Issued In Hudson Valley For Scammers Pretending To Be Power Companies Police in the Hudson Valley are warning people of phone calls coming from scammers posing as power companies. Residents in Putnam County are receiving false automated phone calls from New York State Gas and Electric or Central Hudson that claim their power will be shut off in thirty minutes because of an unpaid balance, Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J.
