Construction To Back Up Traffic For Weeks In Rye Business District A construction project is expected to cause delays for over two months in a busy business district in Westchester County.  Beginning on Monday, Jan. 3, a gas main replacement project will begin in the Rye Central Business District, which will include Purchase Street between Purdy and Locust Avenues, according to the City of Rye Police Department.  During the replacement process, which is expected to take between 10 and 12 weeks, on-street parking will not be available and the street will only remain open one way. 2 Immaculate High School Students Get Perfect SAT Math Scores Two promising students who attend a high school in Fairfield County will likely have no problems getting accepted into colleges.  That's because they both achieved a perfect score of 800 on the math portion of their SAT exams in December, according to Immaculate High School, which is located in Danbury.  Both Danbury resident Jie Du, Class of 2023, and Sandy Hook resident Yipeng "Simon" Zhao, Class of 2024, earned the impressive accomplishment.  The school announced the perfect scores on Thursday, Dec. 29.

Person Rescued From Vehicle After 3-Car Crash In Hudson Valley A three-car crash in the Hudson Valley left one person trapped in their vehicle with injuries.  The accident happened on Saturday, Dec. 24 around 6:40 p.m. in Putnam County on Route 9D in the area of Durisol Road, according to members of Cold Spring Fire Company No. 1.  After arriving, firefighters found a three-car crash with one person trapped in their vehicle and were able to rescue them.
