New Haven resident Glenn London, age 37, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 9 by police on two active arrest warrants, both related to larcenies from the Target in South Windsor, located at 125 Buckland Hills Dr., according to Windsor PD Sergeant Mark Cleverdon. Carjacking Suspect Tracked To Yonkers Police are investigating after a carjacking suspect was tracked to in a part of Westchester County. The incident happened on Thursday, Feb. 9, after the carjacking happened in the Bronx. Drunk Driver Slams Into Telephone Pole In Yorktown: Police A 74-year-old Northern Westchester man faces drunk driving charges after crashing his car into a utility pole, police said. On Saturday, Feb. 4, around 6 p.m., police in Yorktown responded to a single-car crash on Underhill Avenue by the intersection with Route 118, where a vehicle had collided with a pole, according to Yorktown Police. New Superintendent Tapped For Scarsdale Schools A school board in Westchester County has announced its next superintendent. The Scarsdale Board of Education announced on Thursday, Feb. 9 that Andrew Patrick would serve as the district's next superintendent. Patrick will be formally appointed on Monday, Feb. 13. Man Caught Driving Drunk With 2 Kids In Westchester, Police Say A man was charged with DWI under Leandra's Law after he was found driving drunk in Westchester County with a young child and infant in the car, police said. On Saturday, Feb. 4, around midnight, state police found a vehicle parked on the shoulder of I-95 in Mamaroneck and went to investigate it. School District Says Over $11M In Taxes Owed By Mount Vernon: Officials Respond A city in Westchester County is responding to allegations from its Board of Education that city officials refuse to transfer millions of dollars in school taxes to the school district.
