Stolen Van With Customized Wheelchair Inside Found In Yorktown: Suspects At Large Police are searching for the suspects who stole a minivan containing a customized wheelchair in Northern Westchester before leaving the vehicle behind in a parking lot. Wrong-Way Drunk Driver Caught On I-95: Police An 82-year-old drunk driver faces numerous charges after allegedly driving the wrong way on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut, police said. The man's arrest stemmed from an incident that began on Monday, June 19 just after 3:40 a.m., when state police received a report of a car traveling north in the southbound lanes in New Haven County in the area of Exit 60 in Madison. Former Police Sergeant From Peekskill Dies At 58 A community in Northern Westchester is mourning the loss of a former police sergeant who faithfully served his hometown for two decades. Former Peekskill Police Sergeant Kenneth Faughnan died on Sunday, June 18 at the age of 58, his former department announced. Born in Peekskill in 1964, Faughnan graduated from Franciscan High School in Mohegan Lake before attending SUNY Oneonta. String Of Drug Arrests: 5 Suspects Face Charges In Hudson Valley A total of five people face drug-related charges after authorities made arrests in three separate incidents in the Hudson Valley, police said. Fire Leaves Residence Charred In White Plains A house fire in Westchester that left a residence heavily damaged proved to be a difficult battle for firefighters.
