Nassau County Police were called to the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream at around 8 a.m. Sunday, July 21, for a burglary at the Macy’s store. Surveillance video captured a man entering the store through an unlocked door before the business opened. He then pried open and damaged four cash registers before stealing an undisclosed amount of money and fleeing on foot. Man Wanted For Forcible Touching At Long Island Stop & Shop Police are working to identify a man accused of sexually assaulting someone at a Long Island Stop & Shop. The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8, in Merrick at the Stop & Shop located near Merrick Avenue and Smith Street. Nassau County Police said the man forcibly touched the victim “in an inappropriate sexual manner.” No other details were given. Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

Woman Injured In Stabbing Attack In Capital Region A woman is recovering after she was repeatedly stabbed on a residential street in the region. The attack happened in Albany’s Arbor Hill neighborhood, on North Pearl Street near Wilson Street, at around 5:40 p.m. Monday, July 22. Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing 30-Year-Old Long Island Woman Police are asking for help in locating a Long Island woman who was reported missing. Eva Kruslinski, age 30, was last seen in Huntington Station on East Jericho Turnpike at around 1:45 p.m. Monday, July 22. Suffolk County Police said she suffers from bipolar disorder and may be suicidal. Kruslinski was wearing a black tank top and shorts and may have traveled to the West Babylon area.
