Emily A. Szewczyk, 94, Wallington Resident WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Emily A. Szewczyk, of Wallington, died on Sunday, Sept 18. She was 94. Born in Passaic, Szewczyk was a parishioner of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and a member of the Rosary Confraternity and the Pavlic-Koster VFW Post 2640 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Theodore Szewczyk and Debbie Genty, and her brother, Walter Dziga. Szewczyk was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, and her siblings, John Dziga, Joseph Dziga, Rose Reininger and Helen Zapotosky. Cyclists Look To Raise $700,000 For Charity In Purchase College Ride HARRISON, N.Y. -- Hundreds of bicyclists will meet on the Purchase College campus on Sunday, Sept. 18, for the eighth annual Hudson Valley Bike Ride, raising funds for mental health, domestic violence and supportive housing programs.
