State Police Release Details Of Fatal New Fairfield Motorcycle Crash NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Connecticut State Police have released details about Thursday's New Fairfield motorcycle-car accident that killed the motorcycle operator. The motorcyclist's name was not released by the state police. The State Police identified the driver of the car as 21-year-old New Fairfield resident Alyssa Rabuse. The person killed was driving a Connecticut-licensed Kawasaki motorcycle. Danbury's FuelCell Energy Cuts Nearly 100 Jobs DANBURY, Conn. -- FuelCell Energy, headquartered in Danbury, announced Thursday that it is eliminating 96 jobs -- or approximately 17 percent of its global workforce -- as part of a business restructuring plan.FuelCell describes itself as "a global leader in the design, manufacture, operation and service of ultra‐clean, efficient and reliable fuel cell power plants."
