Family Seeks Help For Bridgeport Children After Parents' Violent Deaths BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Organizers of a Go Fund Me page are seeking community support for two young Bridgeport children whose parents have died under horrific circumstances within the past seven months. Felipe "Petey" Soto, 31, died in an automobile accident in Bridgeport in June. Elianna Cruz, 26, died on Wednesday after she was shot just after 9 p.m. last Saturday in Bridgeport. Four New Rochelle Men Fire Shots From Handgun At Area Park, Police Say Four men from Westchester were charged with firing a handgun on Tuesday at Tarrywile Park in Danbury, Conn., police said. Offers responded to a call at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after a caller reported hearing six or seven gunshots near the water tower, police said. Danbury officers identified four suspects, who initially failed to comply with instructions to raise hands, police said. The four males were then taken into custody without further incident. Favorable Winter Weekend Forecast For Greenwich FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Fairfield County can expect a relatively drama-free and snow-free long weekend. The National Weather Service forecast said temperatures will fall on Friday afternoon and dip into the 20s during the evening. There is a 30 percent chance of light snow on Saturday afternoon, after 3 p.m., with a high around 30 during the day. Saturday evening's temperatures will dip into the low 20s. Sunday and Monday are expected to be sunny with high temperatures reaching the upper 30s. Clouds will roll in Monday night and a there is a chance of freezing rain on Tuesday morning.
