Wimbledon Champion Appears At Tennis Fundraiser In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. – Former Wimbledon champion Jared Palmer will be among the guests at TennisFest 2014 on Saturday, May 17, at Intensity in Norwalk. The event benefits the Oyebog Tennis Academy. It begins at 7 p.m., and tickets are $75 for adults and $25 for children 12 and younger. Palmer, the 2001 Wimbledon champion, will be among the guests. Guests can watch 16 top-ranked pros compete, and there will be opportunities to hit with pro players. Harvey's Girls Lacrosse Advances To Conference Title Game KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Harvey School's girls lacrosse team beat Forman, 13-5, Wednesday to advance to the championship game in the Housatonic Valley Athletic League. Pound Ridge Rowers Help Norwalk Crews Win Medals At N.J. Regatta POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Rowers from Pound Ridge helped Norwalk River Rowing's youth teams win seven medals at the Cooper Cup in a regatta that featured 52 clubs competing on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. Three Pound Ridge residents rowed in two of the medal-winning boats. Greenwich Polo Club Hosts 5K For Leukemia & Lymphoma Society GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Wilton-based Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will host the fourth annual Pineapple Classic 5K with obstacles on Saturday, May 17, at the Greenwich Polo Club.
