Friday Traffic Delays Abound Across All Of Fairfield County FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Rail riders in Fairfield County are not the only ones experiencing travel headaches Friday afternoon.  Interstate 95 was congested in both directions Friday, and the Merritt Parkway northbound was also log-jammed as commuters tried to make their way home. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit The Team Jesse Foundation, which gives support and education to the families of fallen soldiers. Westport Woman Helps Trinity College Win Division III Rowing Crown WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport’s Margaret Doyle helped the Trinity College women’s rowing team win its first NCAA Division III national championship in a regatta last weekend in Indianapolis. Doyle, a senior who attended Lauralton Hall in Milford, rowed on Trinity’s second varsity eight. That crew finished second. Trinity won the first varsity eight and finished with 40 points.
