Wilton Running Club Girl Finishes 7th In Race In Junior Olympics WILTON, Conn. -- Angela Saidman of the Wilton Running Club finished seventh Sunday in the 1,500 meters for the 13-14-year-old age group in the United States Junior Olympics meet in Humble, Texas. Saidman earned All-American honors and finished in 4:54:45 in a race as the head index soared over 100 degrees. In an earlier preliminary race, Saidman ran a personal best 4:52.17. But her run on the show didn't last long: Bukzin, 14, was eliminated in Tuesday’s episode of the competitive cooking show. Bukzin, a rising sophomore at Staples High School, taught herself cooking and has never taken a cooking class, according to her biography on the "Chopped" website. Darien Football Players Win 'Lineman Challenge' DARIEN, Conn. -- Nine linemen from Darien High School's varsity football team won the sixth annual Lineman Challenge held Saturday in Berlin, Conn. Darien won the overall competition and placed in the top three in all but one event. "We are really proud of the effort," said Rob Trifone, DHS head football coach.
