Fairfield County Runners Take Top Places At NYC Half Marathon FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Runners from Fairfield County got off to a flying start for the spring running season in Sunday’s New York City Half Marathon. Sharon Vos of Old Greenwich finished secon in her age group, while several others had top five finishes in their age groups. The race had 19,455 total finishers. Vos was the 60-64-year-old women’s age group in 1:31:29. She was 153rd among 10,150 women finishers. Vos was initially listed as the winner in her age group.
