Westchester Native Zuckerberg Warms Up To NJ Governor WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the White Plains native who grew up in Dobbs Ferry, has an unlikely friend in New Jersey Gov. Stamford Exchange Club Seeks Cooks For Chili Challenge STAMFORD, Conn. -- Exchange Clubs of North Stamford, Stamford and Norwalk are seeking contestants for the second annual Charity Chili Challenge on Sunday, April 26. The contest will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Trinity Catholic High School. The event benefits the Exchange Club Parenting Skills Center, which works to help prevent and stop child abuse in Fairfield County while strengthening families. Fairfield Ludlowe Girls Named All-State; Martucci Wins Top Honor FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield Ludlowe High School senior Nina Martucci was named the state's cheerleader of the year and three teammates joined her in receiving all-state honors. Abby Casey, Patrice Tsponaides and Tess Atkins also were named All-State for Ludlowe. The Falcons won their fourth league championship in six years at the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference competition in February.

Westport's Saugatuck Girls Win Gold In San Diego Regatta WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Saugatuck Rowing Club of Westport showed Sunday in San Diego its Girls Varsity 8 is going to be a contender for the national championship come June. Competing for the first time this spring after a wicked winter, Saugatuck became the first East Coast team in four years to win the Women's High School Grand Final in the Varsity 8+. Greenwich Skiers Earn Trip To Nationals With Vermont School FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Skiers from Fairfield County students who attend Stratton Mountain School of Vermont, a ski and snowboard academy based in the heart of the southern Green Mountains, have qualified to represent the school at the Under-16 Nationals in Sugarloaf, Maine. 'Team Chapel' Runners Raise Money For Art Programs In Bronxville BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- "Team Chapel – Arts" ran the recent New York Road Runners Half- Marathon in New York City to raise awareness for the art and drama programs of The Chapel School.
