Court's Injunction Stops HUD From Giving Away Grants For Westchester WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Friday granted Westchester County an injunction that prohibits the Department of Housing and Urban Development from reallocating to other communities approximately $10 million in grants that had been designated for Westchester. Greenburgh Police Officer Linked To Racist Comment, Report Says GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A Greenburgh police officer is being investigated after allegedly making a racist comment on his Facebook page during riots in Baltimore this week, LoHud.com reported. Officer Brad DiCairano was placed on modified duty. Greenbrugh Police Chief Christopher McNerney said department members brought DiCairano's post to his attention on Wednesday.
