Stamford Board Of Realtors Tops $11K In Walk For Alzheimer's STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Board of Realtors Team raised more than $11,000 in the Connecticut Chapter of Alzheimer's Association Walk For Alzheimer's. Sunday's  walk in Norwalk was the largest ever for the Connecticut Chapter. The Realtors raked in $11,402, the fifth highest figure of the 215 teams in the walk. The walk raised more than $400,000 to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Norwalk Youth Wrestling Team Hits The Mats For New Season NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Youth Wrestling program will launch its new season with its first practice on Monday Oct. 19, at Norwalk High School.  Practices are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45 p.m to 7:30 p.m. in the Norwalk High School wrestling room. Danbury Flyer Runners Run Well At Cross Country Race In Bethel DANBURY, Conn. --- Danbury's youth cross country team represented the city well at the Bethel Pumpkin Run at Bethel Middle School.  Danbury took second place while the Flyer boys took fourth.
