One Of State's Most Wanted Captured In Central Mass: Accused Of 2023 Brockton Killing A teenager who was considered one of the most wanted people in the state following a 2023 murder that police say he committed was captured in Worcester on Monday, April 1, authorities announced.  Kahmari T. Price, age 17, was wanted for a fatal shooting in Brockton on Feb. 26, 2023, and has been on the run since, State Police said. $100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Chelmsford March ended with a major payday for one Bay Stater after they purchased a winning lottery ticket in Middlesex County.  The $100,000 Mass Cash ticket was sold at Petro Plus at 188 Princeton St. in Chelmsford on Sunday, March 31. The winner correctly guessed all five numbers of the daily drawing.  Those numbers were 1, 3, 5, 7, 23.  The winner's name was not released. Petro Plus will receive a bonus for the sale.  More than 230 people won $600 or more on Sunday in the Massachusetts State Lottery. Click here to see a daily list of winners.

Cape Cod Toddler Attacked By Dog Airlifted To Boston Hospital A 2-year-old child is undergoing emergency treatment at a Boston hospital after they were attacked by a dog on Sunday, March 31, authorities announced.  Wellfleet police said a pit bull mix bit the toddler just after 2 p.m. at a home on East Hill Road.  Paramedics rushed the child to Cape Cod Gateway Airport, where a MedFlight pilot awaited to take them to Boston.  The child's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police did not say how the dog was connected to the child.

Man Charged With Fire That Destroyed Mass Country Club A Massachusetts was arrested Thursday, March 28, and charged with setting a blaze last year that demolished a Dartmouth country club.  Shawn Medeiros, 31, of New Bedford, is charged with burning a building, the State Fire Marshal's Office said.  Medeiros is accused of setting the May 7, 2023, blaze at Hawthorne Country Club around 1:30 p.m. It took two hours to get the blaze under control.  Fire investigators knew right away that the blaze appeared to be intentionally set.  Authorities did not speculate on any potential motive for the arson.  The club was a …
