Stamford Police Seek Info On Man Who Approached Middle School Student
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police are investigating a report that man in a van approached a child near the Newfield Green Shopping Center on Friday, according to Connecticut Post. On Belltown Road, a white male with a mustache and goatee approached a Dolan Middle School student, who fled, the Connecticut Post reported. Danbury Man Charged After Police Chase
DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man is facing multiple charges after a police chase Thursday night on Padanaram Road, according to The News-Times. Johnny Fernandez, 44, allegedly engaged a state police trooper in a pursuit after the trooper said he identified his car as having plates that were canceled on a different vehicle, The News-Times reported. YouthFest Returns To Rockland Community College Sunday
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Rockland County YouthFest 2016 takes place at Rockland Community College Fieldhouse on Sunday. YouthFest promises to be the "Fun-est Place in Rockland County," according to a news release, with entertainment, activities, interactive educational exhibits, food, live performances and more. Stamford Tenant Charged With Attacking Landlord
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A tenant of a Haig Avenue home has been accused of attacking his landlord for trying to evict him, according to the Stamford Advocate. Joseph Cornacchia, 54, allegedly entered his landlord's apartment, screamed and knocked over several items and pieces of kitchen furniture Thursday night, the Stamford Advocate reported. Stamford Landmark Pat's Hubba Hubba Will Close
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Pat's Hubba Hubba is scheduled to close at the end of March, according to the Stamford Advocate. The chili restaurant and Stamford landmark was founded by the late Pat Carta of Greenwich more than 50 years ago and has been located at 820 Cove Road for almost 25 years, the Stamford Advocate reported.
