Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Man Broke Into Atlantic City Hall, Stayed Overnight: Police Atlantic City police arrested a man who broke into City Hall on Sunday, Oct. 1 and stayed there overnight, authorities said. Sherif Ramadan, 39, of Atlantic City was charged with burglary, police said.  On October 2, 2023, at 8:50 a.m., police Officers Justin Peyton, Hiram Mercado, and Rusty Bouffard responded to City Hall in the 1300 block of Bacharach Boulevard for an unauthorized person in the building found by staff members. 10 Heat-Related Incidents Hospitalize 4 During Jersey Shore Half-Marathon Ten people suffered heat-related incidents at the 50th annual Jersey Shore half-marathon in Sandy Hook over the weekend, authorities said.  Four runners were taken to the hospital from the popular race on Sunday, Oct. 1, according to a National Park Service spokeswoman.  Six other racers refused medical attention, the spokeswoman said.
