Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Passenger, 25, Dies In Collision With Dump Truck In South Jersey A 25-year-old passenger was killed in a collision with a dump truck in Salem County, authorities said. The crash occurred at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the intersection of Garden and Centerton roads in Pittsgrove Township, according to New Jersey State Police. Galloway Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty To Dog, 21 Cats A 34-year-old woman from South Jersey was indicted on 22 counts of animal cruelty, authorities said. Lourdes Martinez, of Galloway, was indicted by an Atlantic County grand jury on Tuesday, Oct. 10, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
