Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The two went missing in Lindenhurst on Tuesday, June 15, and are believed to be together, Suffolk County Police said. Aaliyah Powers, age 16, was last seen at her place of employment, McDonald’s, located at 334 Montauk Highway, Lindenhurst this past Tuesday.  Powers (shown at left in the photo above) is 5-foot-4 inches, about 128 pounds with black hair and blue eyes. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds, the National Weather Service said. Storm activity is expected to continue into the early overnight hours. ID Released For Man Killed In Southern State Parkway Crash The identity has been released of a man who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the Southern State Parkway. It happened on the westbound side in the area of Exit 31 in the town of Oyster Bay at around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, June 17. Two motorcycles and two vehicles were involved in the crash, state police said. The victim, David Torres, age 45, of Hempstead, was driving a 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle when he struck the rear of a 2019 Jeep and was ejected, state police said. It happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 18 in Litchfield County. According to Connecticut State Police, the victim, Nicholas Donahue, of Thomaston, was driving northbound in the Town of Litchfield on Old Northfield Road when a second vehicle, attached with a rear mowing trailer, entered a grass field from the east side of the roadway.
