Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Westchester Company Claims $8.7 Million Lotto Prize A company based in Westchester has claimed an $8.7 Million Lotto Jackpot drawn recently. The White Plains-based PurpleDot LLC opted to receive the jackpot as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $4,339,511, after required withholdings, the New York State Lottery announced on Monday, Sept. 27. Two Men Found Dead After Single-Car Crash In Region Two people were found dead inside a car that crashed off a roadway and into the woods in the region, authorities said. Massachusetts State Police troopers in Hampden County from the Town of Russell barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash on Old Westfield Road in Granville Saturday, Sept. 25 at around 7:20 a.m. The vehicle was discovered 30 feet into a woodline and had been there for some time, said state police. Sam Now A Monster Category 4 Hurricane With 145 MPH Winds; Latest Projected Path Hurricane Sam has quickly strengthened to major Category 4 status as it churns in the Atlantic basin. As of Sunday morning, Sept. 26, Sam is located east-southeast of the northern Leeward Islands and is moving toward the west-northwest at around 8 miles per hour. Suspect At Large After Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight On Residential Long Island Street A suspect is at large after a man was shot and killed in broad daylight on a residential Long Island street. It happened on Friday, Sept. 24 at 5:15 p.m. in Elmont.
