Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Shot, Killed In Garage Of Long Island Home Police are investigating the shooting death of a man that occurred at a Long Island home. It happened around 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27 in Huntington Station. A group of people were in the garage of the home at 57 Murdock St. when another group of people, at least one of whom was armed with a gun, walked up the driveway, Suffolk County Police said. Suspect At Large After Fatal Shooting Of 18-Year-Old In Front Of Long Island Residence An investigation is underway after an 18-year-old was fatally shot in front of a Log Island residence overnight. Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct officers responded to a home in Mastic Beach on the 200 block of Bayview Drive after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot at approximately 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26. When officers arrived, they found Marcel Arrington lying in front of the residence with a gunshot wound, according to police. It happened just after 6:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25 in Patchogue. Suspect From Upstate NY Nabbed After Woman Found Fatally Stabbed Outside Her Long Island Home A suspect from upstate New York has been charged after a woman was found fatally stabbed outside her Long Island home. A 911 caller reported an injured woman on Harford Drive in Coram at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, Suffolk County Police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the woman, who had sustained stab wounds, on the front lawn of the residence, according to police.
