Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released After Suffolk County Woman Found Dead Inside Car The identity has been released of a woman who was found dead inside a car on Long Island when officials responded to a report of a fire. Police and fire officials in Riverhead responded around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 to the driveway of the home at 2 Sebastian Drive, where they found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames, said the Riverhead Police. Man Seriously Injured In Crash On Long Island Expressway In Suffolk Police are investigating an overnight Long Island Expressway crash that left a man seriously injured. It happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 8 in Brentwood. Steven Flores Diaz,  age 25, of Central Islip, was driving a 2000 Ford truck eastbound on the expressway when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a guard rail near the welcome center by Exit 51, Suffolk County Police said.
