Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect In Custody After Woman Found Dead Inside Vehicle In Hudson Valley A suspect has been apprehended after a woman from out of state was found dead inside a vehicle in a residential neighborhood in the Hudson Valley. At approximately 2:10 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, New York State Police troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Dutchess County were dispatched to a residence on Dorothy Heights in Wappingers Falls for a report of an unresponsive woman in a vehicle. Man Charged With Impaired Driving After Wrong-Way Hempstead Crash A man has been charged with impaired driving after a wrong-way crash on the Northern State Parkway. It happened just before 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 in Hempstead. While a Chevy Equinox was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, it sideswiped a Toyota west of Exit 35, state police said. There were no reports of any injuries at the scene. Officers in Mineola responded to a wellness check around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at 140 Old Country Road. Huntington Station Man Shot, Killed After Answering Knock On Door, Police Say Police are searching for a suspect after a fatal overnight shooting on Long Island. It happened around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 in Huntington Station. Suspect On Loose After Bank Robbery In Greenlawn A suspect is at large after a bank robbery on Long Island. The man entered TD Bank in Greenlawn, located at 460 Pulaski Road, at approximately 1:10 p.m. Sunday, July 31, and handed a teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk County Police said.
