Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Troopers assigned to Troop I in Bethany responded to a report of individuals in a vehicle who had sustained gunshot wounds on the southbound side in the area of Exit 60, in the town of Hamden, just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. Serious Crash Involving Overturned Vehicle Causes Taconic Parkway Delays This story has been updated. A serious crash involving an overturned vehicle caused heavy delays on a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway. The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1 in Putnam County on the northbound side in Kent and initially blocked the right lane. Rubbernecking delays were reported on the southbound lanes. 3 Suspects At Large After Food Delivery Driver Robbed On New Year's Eve In New Cassel Three suspects are on the loose after a Long Island food delivery driver was robbed on New Year's Eve. The incident happened at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 in New Cassel. The victim, a 61-year-old man, was making a delivery to a Brook Street residence and was approached by three unknown males, Nassau County Police said. Duo Charged With Murder After Man Found Dead On Street In Hudson Valley Two suspects have been charged with murder hours after a man was found dead on a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened in Rockland County at around 1:10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29 in the area of 55 N. Myrtle Avenue in Spring Valley. 23-Year-Old Killed After Being Struck Outside Riverhead Auto Dealership A 23-year-old was killed after being struck by a pickup truck and possibly another vehicle in a crash outside an auto dealership on Long Island. Woman Killed In Overnight Long Island Expressway Crash In Syosset An investigation is underway after a fatal overnight crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 in Syosset and involved a 2018 Jeep Renegade, driven by a 53-year-old woman, and a 2018 Hino commercial truck being operated by a 28-year-old man, Nassau County Police said. Connecticut State Police are asking for the public's help in apprehending a suspect in an attempted armed robbery at a liquor store. 26-Year-Old Killed After Car Crashes Into Rest Area In Hudson Valley A 26-year-old was killed in an overnight crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 in Orange County on a stretch of I-84 in Wallkill. A preliminary investigation determined Orange County resident Derrick N.
