Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

2 Killed In Separate Crashes In North Lindenhurst, Huntington Two people were killed in separate Long Island crashes on Saturday, Aug. 5. The first happened at around 2:45 p.m. in North Lindenhurst. A 56-year-old West Babylon man was driving a 2008 Ford E250 van northbound on Straight Path, at the intersection of Wellwood Avenue, when his vehicle struck an electric scooter, Suffolk County Police said. Flash Flood Risk: Here Are Projected Rainfall Totals As Rounds Of Storms Take Aim At Region Flash flooding is possible across much of the Northeast as multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms sweep through the next few days. Double-Fatal Hit-Run Crash: Victims Struck By SUV In Front Of Long Island Shopping Center Two men were killed in an overnight crash in front of a Long Island shopping center. It happened around 11:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 in Farmingville.
