Gregory Settino, age 60, of Bethpage, was sentenced to a year and a day behind bars Wednesday, April 20, in federal court in Central Islip. He was also ordered to pay restitution of more than $800,000. Settino had pleaded guilty to stealing approximately $750,000 worth of the drug Adequan from his employer, American Regent, in Shirley. Officers were called to the store on Crossing Boulevard in Clifton Park Monday, April 18, after getting reports of disruptive youths, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. When a State Police trooper and sheriff's deputy confronted the teens, a 17-year-old girl became combative and struck the deputy in his face with a soap dish, injuring him, police said. Rensselaer County resident Dylan Densmore, age 26, of Poestenkill, was arrested Thursday, April 21, following the wreck on Highway 355 in Poestenkill, according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office.
