Supervisor At NY Drug Manufacturer Sentenced For Theft Of Medication A former supervisor at a Long Island drug manufacturer is heading to federal prison for stealing animal medication. Gregory Settino, age 60, of Bethpage, was sentenced to a year and a day behind bars Wednesday, April 20, in federal court in Central Islip. He was also ordered to pay restitution of more than $800,000. Settino had pleaded guilty to stealing approximately $750,000 worth of the drug Adequan from his employer, American Regent, in Shirley. Adequan is an injectable drug typically given to horses and dogs to treat the degenerative effects of arthritis. Federal prosecutors alleged …

Teen Injures Sheriff's Deputy During Confrontation At Target Store In Area, Police Say A Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputy was injured during a confrontation with a teenager at a Target store. Officers were called to the store on Crossing Boulevard in Clifton Park Monday, April 18, after getting reports of disruptive youths, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. When a State Police trooper and sheriff's deputy confronted the teens, a 17-year-old girl became combative and struck the deputy in his face with a soap dish, injuring him, police said. Man Wanted For Stealing $1,100 Worth Of Tools From Long Island Home Depot, Police Say Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing nearly $1,100 worth of tools from a Long Island Home Depot. The incident happened Sunday, March 13 at the store on Gateway Boulevard in Patchogue. Woman Faces Charges After Barricading Herself In Yorktown Home, Police Say A Northern Westchester woman is facing charges after allegedly threatening a worker at her home. Police were called to the house on Gerard Court in Yorktown Tuesday, April 19, for a reported dispute between a resident and workers at the home, Yorktown Police said. Former Police Officer In NY Sentenced For Bribery, Drug Trafficking A former New York City Police Department officer from Long Island who often referred to himself as “one of the most corrupt cops” in Queens is heading to federal prison for bribery and drug trafficking. Capital Region Woman Nabbed For Aggravated DWI An Albany County woman who drove off a roadway and crashed into a stone wall had a blood alcohol concentration of more than twice the legal limit to drive, New York State Police said. Erica Leskowsky, age 26, of Latham, was arrested Wednesday, April 20, after a trooper responded to the crash scene along Content Farm Road in Washington County. Capital Region Man Charged In Fatal Crash In Rensselaer County A Capital District man is accused of causing a DWI crash that left a man dead. Rensselaer County resident Dylan Densmore, age 26, of Poestenkill, was arrested Thursday, April 21, following the wreck on Highway 355 in Poestenkill, according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office.
