Car Flips On Side, Closing Hudson Valley Road A crash in the Hudson Valley left a car perched on its side and a road closed for a period of time. On Friday, Jan. 6, around 4 p.m., officials in Putnam County responded to an accident in Mahopac on Clark Place for a reported vehicle rollover, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Luckily, no injuries were reported. The road was closed for a half hour as crews worked to clear the scene, officials said.

Firefighters Battle House Fire, Ignited Propane Supply, Live Wires All At Once In CT A Connecticut house fire that also ignited a propane supply and knocked down power lines left one person injured. On Sunday, Jan. 8 around 5:30 a.m., firefighters in Middlesex County were sent to a home in Clinton located in the area of Nod Road and East Shore Drive for a reported house fire, according to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department. Fire Damages Peekskill Home A late morning basement fire sent firefighters in droves to a home in Northern Westchester. On Sunday, Jan. 8, around 11:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a residence in Peekskill on Crompond Road (Route 202) after smoke was seen coming out of the two-and-a-half-story home. Katonah resident David Wallick died on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the age of 60, according to his obituary. Alert Issued For Missing Pleasantville Girl Officials are asking for help from the public in locating a missing 13-year-old girl from Northern Westchester. Destiny Scott has been missing since Tuesday, Dec. 27 from Pleasantville, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Scott is described as Black with brown hair and brown eyes, is 5'1" tall, and weighs around 100 pounds. She is likely in the area of Pleasantville or Brooklyn. Video: Shoplifter Of Marshalls In Yonkers Nabbed After Forcing His Way Out Of Store A man is facing his thirteenth arrest after he brazenly shoplifted a Marshalls twice in Westchester County, police said.
