Renovated Hartsdale Train Station Includes New Elevator, Heated Seating Area After decades of requests from commuters and town officials, an all-new elevator and other renovations have been made to a well-traveled train station in Westchester. CT Accountant Steals $25K From Client, Police Say A Connecticut accountant faces larceny charges after stealing $25,000 from one of his clients, police announced. Carl Anderson, who owns Anderson Accounting and Finance LLC, was arrested in Litchfield County by New Milford Police on Friday, Dec. 22 following a lengthy investigation, the department announced on Wednesday, Dec. 27. 2 Injured After Moped Strikes Person At Yonkers Intersection Two people suffered injuries after a moped crashed into a person at a Westchester intersection, police said. The incident happened on Monday, Dec. 25 around 1 p.m. in Yonkers at the intersection of Warburton and Ashburton Avenues, when a moped driven by one person struck a pedestrian, according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio. Water Main Break May Cause Road Closures On Route 9A In Croton: Officials A busy main route in Northern Westchester may be affected by temporary road closures as crews work to repair a water main break, officials said. The water main break occurred in Croton-on-Hudson on South Riverside Avenue (Route 9A) between Grand Street and Brook Street, village officials announced on Wednesday, Dec. 27 just after 10:30 a.m. The break may cause temporary road closures on the roadway. ID Released Of Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle At Westchester Intersection Authorities are investigating a crash at a Westchester intersection that left a man dead. The incident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 26 just before 2 p.m., when a 79-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Tarrytown at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 119, according to Tarrytown Police. The man, identified as Patrick Kennedy of Tarrytown, was later pronounced dead.
