2 Injured After Moped Strikes Person At Yonkers Intersection Two people suffered injuries after a moped crashed into a person at a Westchester intersection, police said.  The incident happened on Monday, Dec. 25 around 1 p.m. in Yonkers at the intersection of Warburton and Ashburton Avenues, when a moped driven by one person struck a pedestrian, according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio.  Both the pedestrian and driver were injured in the incident and are now in stable condition, DiDomizio said.  The incident caused Warburton Avenue to briefly close between Ashburton Avenue and Wells Avenue.  …

The water main break occurred in Croton-on-Hudson on South Riverside Avenue (Route 9A) between Grand Street and Brook Street, village officials announced on Wednesday, Dec. 27 just after 10:30 a.m.  The break may cause temporary road closures on the roadway. ID Released Of Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle At Westchester Intersection Authorities are investigating a crash at a Westchester intersection that left a man dead. The incident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 26 just before 2 p.m., when a 79-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Tarrytown at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 119, according to Tarrytown Police.
