3 Hospitalized After Car Strikes Pole In Hudson Valley Three people were taken to a hospital following an early morning crash in the Hudson Valley.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Feb. 3 just before 4:30 a.m., when a car crashed into a pole on Croton Falls Road in Mahopac near the Westchester border, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  Three people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital to be evaluated, firefighters said. Lane Closures Scheduled For Section Of Sprain Brook Parkway In Elmsford, Mount Pleasant A section of a busy parkway in Westchester is scheduled to be shuttered by upcoming lane closures, officials announced.  A series of single and double lane closures are scheduled for the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway between Route 100 in Mount Pleasant and Route 100C in Elmsford on Tuesday, Feb. 6, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The closures will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will allow crew to perform construction work.
