Schools Searched In Hudson Valley After Accidental Alarm Activation: Police Several school buildings in the Hudson Valley were searched following the accidental activation of an alarm, police said. 21-Year-Old Nabbed For Stealing Vehicle At Parking Garage In White Plains: Police A 21-year-old man faces charges after stealing a vehicle from a parking garage in Westchester, police announced. The man, whose name has not yet been released, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 19 after stealing a vehicle from a parking garage in White Plains at 44 South Broadway, White Plains Public Safety announced on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The suspect also damaged the garage's automatic gate in the process, police said. Man Steals Snickers Bar In Yorktown, Police Say As proof that the law applies to even the smallest crimes, a 55-year-old man was nabbed after pocketing a Snickers candy bar without paying for it at a Northern Westchester store, police said. The arrest followed an incident on Thursday, Feb. 8 at around 10:30 a.m., when an employee at the COCO Farms store at 3700 Barger St. in Yorktown reported a larceny to the town's police department.  According to Yorktown Police, an officer arrived at the store and met with the employee.
