Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Yonkers A 39-year-old man was injured after being hit by a car in Westchester, police said.  The crash happened on Monday, March 11 at around 2 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Yonkers in the area of Elm Street and Oak Street, according to Yonkers Police Sergeant Robert Spink.  Arriving officers found a 39-year-old man with an injured right ankle caused by the crash, which had happened while he was crossing the road.  The driver of the vehicle that hit the man stayed at the scene and met with police. Vehicle Rollover Snaps Pole, Shuts Down Busy Road In New Castle A vehicle rollover in Northern Westchester damaged a telephone pole and caused a temporary closure on a busy road. The incident happened on Saturday, March 9 just before 2 p.m., when a car rolled over on Route 133 in New Castle and hit a pole, snapping it in half, according to the Millwood Fire Department.  Arriving emergency responders and police soon shut down the road while members of the Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps evaluated the driver.  Crews responded to the scene for around an hour and a half.
