Animal Cruelty: Cat Shot In Face, Middletown Police Say A cat was found shot in the face and neck in Central Pennsylvania, police announced on Tuesday, March 12.  The Middletown Borough Police Department has launched a "criminal investigation" after the cat was found in the 100 block of West Water Street in the borough.  The cat had "several injuries on its face and neck which were the result of being shot with a BB gun," police said noting that "the injuries are believed to have been inflicted late last week." I-81 Traffic Creeps, Crawls Following 'Serious' Crash At PA/MD Line:PennDOT A serious crash on Interstate 81 caused some major deals near the Pennslyvania/Maryland state line on Monday, according to authorities.  The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-81 at mile marker 10.3 in Guilford Township, Greencastle at 9:28 a.m. on March 11, according to PennDOT.  State police investigated the crash.  The number of vehicles involved and any injuries were not noted.  PennDOT expects residual delays.

Dead Body Found In Enola: Authorities (Developing) Someone was found dead in Enola on Saturday, authorities announced.  The person was found in the 700 block of Shaffer Street, East Pennsboro Township, Enola at 5:45 a.m. on March 9, according to the local police department which had officers called to investigate. The East Pennsboro Township EMS, and the Cumberland County Coroner's Office also assisted at the scene.  "The death in Enola is not Suspicious and an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow," Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall told Daily Voice.  Check back here for updates on this developing situation.
