Child Struck, Killed By School Bus In Hudson Valley A child has died after being struck by a school bus in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 5:50 p.m., Monday, Jan. 29 in front of 100 Clinton Ave., in the Village of New Square. According to Lt. Blaine Howell of the Ramapo Police, the 8-year-old child was treated by paramedics on the scene but was pronounced dead. Fatal Crash: Man Killed In Hit-Run, Police Search For Driver Police are investigating following a hit-and-run crash that killed a Connecticut man. The collision occurred in New Haven around 1:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 28 at the intersection of Ella Grasso Boulevard and Washington Avenue. New Haven County resident Michael Murray, age 62, of Milford, turned himself in to police on Saturday, Jan. 20 for the Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023 incident. Westchester Woman Nabbed Shoplifting $1K In Goods From Stores, Police Say A 36-year-old Hudson Valley woman was nabbed for allegedly shoplifting more than $1,000 in goods from various stores after a police pursuit. Westchester County resident Analda Robertson, of Mount Vernon, was charged on Sunday, Jan. 21, after New York State Police were notified by a manager of an Orange County Price Chopper store in Wallkill that she left the store with a cart full of items without paying, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
